Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group Completes Cabernet Sleigh for Metropolitan Ministries- 6th Year in a Row

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group recently completed its annual Cabernet Sleigh drive, a company-wide holiday initiative supporting Metropolitan Ministries in collecting non-perishable foods and toys for children of all ages. Driving a U-Haul truck also known as the Cabernet Sleigh, Owners Allen Crumbley and Dewey Mitchell as well as some other elves (staff members) delivered 9,271 pounds of food, over 1,205 toys, 21 bikes, 20 bags of new clothing, and $3,285 in gift cards and cash to the local nonprofit, Metropolitan Ministries.

The annual drive, which takes place throughout the real estate firm’s branch offices in the months leading up to the holidays, benefits thousands of families who are helped by Metropolitan Ministries, a local non-profit that provides food, shelter, resources, counseling, education, and job training services to alleviate suffering, promote, dignity and instill self-sufficiency for low-income and homeless families in Tampa Bay.
