" The process selling my house went well, only problems that we faced were from the buyers side so I have no complaints. My realtor Brandon Moore-Johnson may be a newer realtor but was very knowledgeable in all matters, kind, courteous, understanding, and very helpful throughout the process in helping me understand everything. The only issue that we encountered with which we were not completely satisfied (and over which Julie had no control) was the closing company (Enterprise) using ClosingLock (with ClosingLock's one-sided, oppressive/unfair contract terms, e.g., limiting ClosingLock's liability (to a maximum of $100), requiring mandatory mediation in and under Texas law, and requiring Berkshire Hathaway's clients to defend, indemnify and hold ClosingLock harmless (even if ClosingLock was negligent in providing its wire transfer instruction work.) Despite being required to use the services of (and being subject to ClosingLock's unconscionable contract terms), in the future, we would definitely be very pleased to work with Julie again and will strongly recommend Julie to any of our friends who are interested in buying or selling any real estate. I started looking for a new home in Jan. 2020, with the market being a seller's market - finding a home without coming out of pocket or going above appraised value was beyond difficult. I had worked with 3 other realtors as part of my relocation program and I did most of the work on my own, did all the neighborhood research etc...; after the 3rd realtor didn't work out I decided to ask a co-worker who I knew was a realtor on the side and she referred me to Laurel. Laurel quickly learned my taste and what I was looking for, unlike the other 3 realtors! She would provide guidance based on the houses I would ask to see and when I started to want to settle - she didn't let me. We owned the Florida condo for many years, but our primary residence is in New Jersey. We had a number of concerns regarding the sale of the Florida condo (e.g. selling in FL while being in NJ, having the sale to occur in early 2022, disposal of unwanted items, etc ). We contacted with Mary in early Nov. 2021, signed on and in a couple of days Mary had an attractive cash offer for us. We accepted and closed the first week of Jan. 2022.
