Living in Ohio with a condo in Clearwater poses some logistical problems, especially when circumstances dictate that I do so long-distance. I enlisted the help of Melissa, who essentially acted as my interior decorator. She picked up flooring samples and took them over to see what best matched the kitchen counter; she advised me to take the flooring throughout the condo; she persuaded me to re-do the master bath (that took some doing!); she collaborated with the contractor doing the work; she found other contractors to help with other "pieces" of the remodeling; she returned to the condo multiple times to be my 'eyes and ears' during the process. She stayed calm and reassured me when I was frantic. I am sure there were times when she wanted to strangle me; however, she stuck with me and ultimately sold the condo for a good price. She handled loose ends even after the closing. It was the best possible outcome.

Over the course of our year long quest to find a new home Diane and I have met numerous agents representing the sellers of homes.
A condo came up for sale in our development and we met Barbaranne there for a showing. From that point on Barbaranne would guide us through many open houses and private showings.
Once out on the road to look at condo Barbaranne would look for other condos to look at and would not hesitate to call a sellers agent to quickly set up a showing. We even visited places where the sellers were home.
I can’t tell you how many we viewed but there were quite a few. Some very nice but the price was a bit high and some that just didn’t meet our standards though the pics appeared to show otherwise . She was relentless ( in a positive way) to find a place that met our needs.
After finding one that we liked, Barbaranne represented us in the sale of our home. She was in constant contact with us explaining the process and steering us through all the possibilities in front of us.
We couldn’t be happier how Barbaranne handled all aspects of the sale and purchase of our homes. A true professional!

We recently purchased a condo on the Hillsborough River (at the Marina Club) with Julie Phillips Lawrence of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida as our realtor. Julie was outstanding ... she has a great personality and excellent communication skills and kept us and the seller's agent up-to-date on every issue that came up ... making the process of purchasing our condo relatively free of any stress. In addition, Julie was always very well prepared and had a good handle on comparable properties that were on the market or had recently sold ... and was a great sounding board and provided us with excellent advice on the negotiations ... which resulted in us making our purchase at what we felt was a very reasonable sales price. After going under contract, Julie was on top of our home inspection issues and, as such, we were able to resolve the property inspection issues and get closed within three (3) weeks of our sales contract being signed by all the parties to the sale. In sum, Julie is an excellent real estate professional and a real asset to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida. The only issue that we encountered with which we were not completely satisfied (and over which Julie had no control) was the closing company (Enterprise) using ClosingLock (with ClosingLock's one-sided, oppressive/unfair contract terms, e.g., limiting ClosingLock's liability (to a maximum of $100), requiring mandatory mediation in and under Texas law, and requiring Berkshire Hathaway's clients to defend, indemnify and hold ClosingLock harmless (even if ClosingLock was negligent in providing its wire transfer instruction work.) Despite being required to use the services of (and being subject to ClosingLock's unconscionable contract terms), in the future, we would definitely be very pleased to work with Julie again and will strongly recommend Julie to any of our friends who are interested in buying or selling any real estate.

Let’s rewind to 4 years ago when I was single and “thinking” about moving to florida. Paul went out of his way to show me condos knowing I was probably never going to move. He never made me feel pressured or anxious or that I was wasting his time. 4 years later I called Paul right away because I was “thinking” about moving to florida now with a husband and a child. Paul dedicated his entire week to show us areas and homes. He was beyond patient, kind, knowledgeable and supportive. We did not get our first house we made an offer on due to multiple offers. We had very specific requests for a property and we wanted to purchase something quickly. Melissa Jolis listened and was very caring about our needs.
We had a Very Unique and Difficult purchase once we selected a property. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciated Melissa's expertise, patience, persistence, and follow through of helping me get through the process....time after time after time. It started with wanting to bid on a house, but I had to wait until someone tried to get financing (long story, but Melissa was able to get us a better deal). Each step was difficult all the way to the final paper at closing. Calatlantic did not start my closing paperwork until about one week before I was suppose to close on the 15th of September because of an oversight. The closing happened the 19th by 4 pm, thanks to Melissa's persistence and followup on Everything! I drove to Florida to close and did nothing but paperwork Monday until the following Monday when I closed......and they were still doing paperwork as I was signing. Melissa insisted they get it done because I needed to return to Michigan for work, and closing was suppose to have happened the 15th. The whole process was a nightmare and very very very stressful. I cannot say enough about Melissa's professionalism and the AMAZING job did for us! She is knowledgeable, patient, persistent (when needed), and personable. She was able to ease my stress in so many ways to make this a sale. To me, she went Way above and beyond by always being available, and I mean always! I wish she would receive a bonus for this sale for everything she did to make the sale happen.....I don't believe anyone could have handled all the issues we had and been successful in the sale of this house to us. It was above and beyond any responsibility of an agent to have to go through this. But, she did....along side of me the whole way!

Jimmy was very knowledgeable with regards to homes in the area. The day that we arrived from NH to start our home search, he had the whole day planned for us to see both new and pre-owned homes. By the end of that day, we had chosen our new home. This home ended up being the first development that Jimmy had recommended for us when we initially spoke in January. It also ended up being the builder that Jimmy had also recommended. It was very clear to us that when we had our initial calls with Jimmy in January, he truly took the time to listen to what we wanted in a home.
