Clay Brown is a 4th generation Florida native and he’s been in the real estate industry for over 10 years. Clay started as a middle school youth pastor out of college, and it was after he bought his first condo (a foreclosure) that he realized real estate could be a promising career for him. It was history from there! He began building his business, earned his broker’s license and opened his own small brokerage, which eventually merged with Better Homes & Gardens.
He has a history of training, coaching and onboarding real estate agents to success; he had always wanted to help them avoid mistakes that he made when he first got into the industry. For those who want it all—to be successful at both life and work—he offers something different than what they may expect: honesty, humor, and energy!
Clay Brown is a guy with big energy and heart! He loves the family culture of the Port Richey office and wants to see everyone succeed. When Clay walks in, he gets buzzed and excited because of the people in his office! His favorite part about being a Market President is watching agents grow where they don’t need him anymore, you know, without training wheels on. This excites him because it means they have mastered all their new skills and are ready to take off on their own!
Married with three beautiful daughters, Clay is a family man to the core and one of many talents. He enjoys playing the piano for pleasure (and knows all the Disney princess songs thanks to his girls), and spending time outdoors fishing and golfing. Clay also loves to go to Disney parks with his wife and daughters – all named after Harry Potter characters, mind you. In his spare time, he also likes to go hunting; it's something that he's just recently started enjoying.
Focused on ethics, positive energy and integrity, Clay holds himself and his office to the highest standards. He works hard for his agents and enjoys spending time with them – not just as a "task". If you like Disney, the outdoors and an enthusiastic personality then Clay is your guy!
